We believe what happens at home is foundational to family life and dedication is an opportunity to publicly affirm your desire to create a home with Jesus as the foundation and commit yourself to be the primary nurturer of your child’s spiritual formation. By dedicating your child to the Lord, you are trusting that one day they will accept Jesus as their Savior with a passion to live on mission with him.

If Mission Hills is your church home and you are committed as a parent to lead your children to know God’s Word and guide them into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, please follow the steps below to sign up for our next Child Dedication service:

Step One: Complete the Child Dedication Application below. Your application will be forwarded to the Kids Ministry Team and must be completed and received prior to the orientation.

Step Two: You will attend the orientation scheduled on a Wednesday evening prior to the Dedication Celebration. Unless you are a single parent, it is important that both parents attend the orientation.

Step Three: Join us, along with your family and friends, for a time of DEDICATION and CELEBRATION on a Saturday morning. This is a time for you to commit to put God first in your home and to trust Him to guide you as you lead your family and parent your child. This is a time to celebrate life and to dedicate your child before the Lord and pray for him/her to have a heart to know and love Jesus all the days of their life.
