SERVE DESCRIPTION

You can serve our English as a Second Language (ESL) students by being a conversation partner. Spend one-hour a week chatting with a student on Zoom to help them to improve their English and to encourage them. Our ESL students are all adults and come from a range of backgrounds. Some are single parents, others are immigrants, and they come from all over the world including Russia, Italy, and many Latin countries.

Each week, you’ll receive an update from our Life Center ESL team about what the students have been focusing on and a few prompts to help guide your conversation. No teaching background is needed, so if you love people and want to serve online, we’d love to connect with you.
