Have you ever opened your Bible, excited to hear from God, but felt confused by what you read? You’re not alone. Many of us want to understand the Bible better, but sometimes it feels like reading a foreign language.

But what if it didn’t have to be so hard? In Psalm 119, the longest chapter in the Bible, David gives us a simple way to understand scripture. He takes its big message and sums it up in 7 key words — 7 doors that open to a deeper connection with God’s truth.

The 7 Words That Matter

1. Law: Loving Guidance

Proverbs 119:1 “Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the LORD.”

“Law” isn’t about strict rules, but loving direction. It’s the path that leads us toward living with purpose and integrity.

Proverbs 119:2 “Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart.”

The Bible is full of powerful stories about God, people, and Jesus. These aren’t just historical records – they’re invitations to seek God with all our heart.

Following Christ means choosing a different path. It’s about continuous learning and turning towards God, even when it’s challenging.
