5 TRUTHS MADE CERTAIN BY EASTER
1 // There is hope for the world.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. (John 3:16-17)
2 // Forgiveness is available to anyone.
This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. (Matthew 26:28)
3 // Relationship can be renewed.
But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship (Galatians 4:4-5)
4 // Sin is powerless for believers.
For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin—because anyone who has died has been set free from sin. (Romans 6:5-6)
5 // Death is defeated for believers.
For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. (1 Corinthians 15:21-22)
